[Campus Briefing] New News About English Lectures
English lecture means professor should use English to his lecture’s attendees. Many exchange students register these lectures because of its convenience of language, and communication with professors. Korean students also take these lectures thanks to their needs or conditions for graduation. There are several changes about English lecture from 2016. Largely, two contents are important things.
- From 2016 first semester, the method of grade evaluation changed. Previous method gives A, A+ to students by maximum 40 percentage and the rest receive grades as professor likes. Now, however, like other normal lectures (the number of attendees should be over fifteen) English lectures also have to apply existing relative evaluation standard.
- From February, 2017 graduate would be able to graduate more easily than before. Previous standard requires three English lectures to graduate. Now, however, the standard requires only two English lectures.
